A photo story from the events which took place from Monday to Wednesday. Digging, ladies, kids… with the support of Specialized and their stars.
The idea of the Black Hole Bike Festival has been the same from the beginning: to put on major events on two consecutive weekends and minor events on weekdays in between. For the local scene and for those who decide to spend more time in the area.
This year with the Enduro World Series visiting the weekdays are even more active and even regular refreshment from the sky can’t change that.
Specialized Bicycles, a partner to both EWS and the local Mountain Bike Nomad, jumped in for the Monday to Wednesday events, and brougth their stars and experts on board.
No dig, no ride
A DigDay was held in Singletrail Park Jamnica on Monday, led by South African trail building specialist Fanie Kok who is heading Specialized’s Soil Searching programme, teaching, motivating and raising awareness all over the globe.
Specialized ambassador Hannah Barnes and enduro racers Jared Graves and Curtis Keene were also part of the trail crew.

Girls go international
Tuesday was Women’s Day. Hannah took a mixed Austrian-Slovenian to Petzen flow trail in the morning and to the trails of Jamnica in the afternoon.
After morning guided rides the junior riders took over in the afternoon. In the town of Ravne na Koroškem they have everything they could wish for. They opened a pumptrack last year and this year they finished a trail center on Poseka ski slope.
Hannah, Jared, Curtis and Fanie showed up as well.
